Things To Do In Kent Washington
Kent Washington is located just outside of Seattle. Offering multiple ways to get to Seattle and being located adjacent to SeaTac International Airport makes Kent Washington a prime spot to visit on your next trip to Western Washington. Kent is a growing city with a lot of fun things to do! From miles of bike trails, dozens of parks and urban forests, a beautiful lake for water-based activities and more, there’s always something for you to do!
Go for a Bike Ride!
With almost 30 miles (48 Kilometers) of paved bike trails you’ll have plenty of amazing views to cruise along to. My favorite trail in Kent Washington that I’ve ridden is the Soos Creek Trail.
Hit the water
Ready to cool off on a hot summer day? Hit the water at Lake Meridian. From fishing areas to public swimming to a public boat launch, there is something for everyone on Lake Meridian! I’ve cooled off here a number of times on hot summer days.
From the Seattle Thunderbirds to live concerts a lot goes on at the Showare Center in downtown Kent.
Kent Station is a central point of interest in Kent Washington. Here you will find a movie theater complete with IMAX and 3D showings. You will also find food of all kinds at Kent Station. Here you can also catch a train into Seattle Washington!
Pickleball Museum located in Kent Washington is devoted to the sport. Pickleball began here in Washington on Bainbridge Island in the 1960’s. You can stop in and see some of the original equipment! While you’re there you can play on one of their courts!
The Greater Kent Historical Society Museum is located in a historic home and will show you what life was like in Kent around the turn of the 20th Century. Come Discover the history of Kent!
