Primera Air, a low cost budget airline that offered $99 fairs from the USA to Europe, has declared bankruptcy. Accommodations will be made to get stranded crew back to their operating bases however passengers stranded will have to make their own arraignments to get home.
Troubles started when they had delays in getting their A321neo aircrafts. To deal with the lack of their own airplanes they had to lease planes from other airlines which led to increased operating expenses.
On October 1st 2018 an email was leaked saying operations would cease on October 2nd 2018.
Authorities in the UK are advising stranded passengers make their own arraignments to get home.
